He started his acting career in Yola, Adamawa state on the children’s stage at the tender age of eight, had a stint in television soap operas and made a splash in the 2006 ensemble drama Coded Hussle.BSwR9etCEAAL7Ny
The surprise success of The Generals and Royal Stormmade him a star and kept his career going, but it was his role in Princess Rihanna 1-2 and Implication that earned Zubby Michael a reputation as a serious actor.  
Since then he has worked steadily as a versatile character actor and a star of dramas and action thrillers.
